Women Composers Alphabet Poster

Classroom Posters & Booklets

The Women Composers Alphabet Poster pays homage to some of the great women composers often left out of music history and performance. You can help correct the narrative of music history by hanging this poster in a classroom, living room, or music studio. This poster size is 24" width x 18" height.

The companion booklet details facts about each composer on Boulanger Initiative's Women Composers Alphabet Poster, with a page dedicated to each composer and a QR code to a playlist listening link featuring music by the composers. Perfect for all ages, inside and outside of the classroom.

Megan DiGeorgio

Megan DiGeorgio is a composer, performer, educator, and arts administrator in the Washington, D.C. area. In all of her work, she believes in community over competition, and she believes that correcting the gender imbalance in music and composition starts with inspiring young students and musicians with the knowledge that they can be composers and creators themselves. She is the Director of Education Advancement for Boulanger Initiative, serves on the leadership team of District New Music Coalition, and freelances as a composer, violist, vocalist, and private teacher.
